Rise And Live Forever by Sysirauta Rise And Live Forever by Sysirauta
They cannot kill us, kill us, kill us.
Never can kill us, kill us, kill us.
Ever trying kill us, kill us, kill us,
but we will live forever,
the damned ones of the Earth.

We will come back our heads severed,
wings torn, legs cut and heart eaten.
We will come back our blood being shed,
the forgotten ones of the Earth.
We will rise and live forever.

They cannot kill us, kill us, kill us.
Never can kill us, kill us, kill us.
Ever trying kill us, kill us, kill us,
but we will live forever,
the exalted ones of the Skies.

We will come back carrying the stars,
calling the winds and riding the night.
We will come back our soul purified,
the divine ones of the Skies.
We will descend and live forever.

¤ Red ink, black ink, water. First part of a diptych.

En osaa kirjoittaa kommenttia.
Taas kerran kuvat kertovat enemmän kuin tuhat sanaa.
Mahtava idea, nää molemmat on järkyttävän mahtavia
Piste. Loppu.

Gorgeous piece. Glad you went so stylistic with it as opposed to realistic as you originally intended. I think it strengthens the idea I believe you were shooting for (going by your lyrics and other comments). I'd love to see more like this so looking forward to the finished diptych.

This reminds me of Brainstorm or at least the transition of the head and branching antlers. I like the poem as well it in its interpretive what, is just as enlightening as the the image in its vivid colors represents, nicely done. :)

Thanks. And I guess the best results for that question you get just by searching about how to suggest a daily deviation or something.

I've had a very rough day, but somehow seeing and reading this definetly made me scream to myself "pull yourself together and stand up!".
A magificent concept. Good job!

Pfft. For once it is thinking that it made something original and then comes the patrol and says noooo, everything is already been created. Three times at least.

Nobody was patroling anything here and nobody said it's copied off other art. It is not forbidden to be reminded of something that looks similar to one.

I said it is beatiful art and even added it to my collection, so pls turn that hostility down a notch...

Lol? Hostility? More like "oh well this was predictable because originality is impossible at these days". Just that somebody doesn't include smileys into comments doesn't mean a mean spirit.

Oh, ok. Lolsies... sorry then. My bad.

Anyway, the line-work is truly beautiful and more so because it is traditional art. The more I look at it the more I like it.

No problem. (Just that if you ever even plan to make a trip to northern Europe or especially to my country, be aware that people may feel really blunt but are no way mean.)

Thanks. I prefer traditional, somehow I'm really fond of the finality of the traditional art (even if, SOMETIMES, an undo -button would be a nice thing to have....)

Yeah, but getting used to digital makes you really lazy. I don't remember when I held a pencil in my hand the last time. My handwriting got really awful too...

Actually it's more like no head at all; that is just a form of blood or something (my first idea was to make the deer more realistic but then the surrealism took over. |D But I don't regret anything).
